In line with its mission to provide exceptional healthcare services to the community, Maccure Hospital's Maternity and Paediatric Care unit, led by the esteemed Dr. Geeta Jain (MBBS, MD – Obstetrics & Gynaecology), hosted a free health check-up camp today for expecting mothers and children.
The event, conducted from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., aimed to create awareness about maternal and child health while offering complimentary medical services. Attendees availed free consultations, routine health screenings, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, and pediatric growth assessments, all tailored to the unique needs of mothers and children. Over 150 individuals benefitted from the initiative.
Dr. Geeta Jain, a highly respected obstetrician and gynecologist at Maccure Hospital, led an engaging session on “The Importance of Maternal and Child Health in Preventive Care”. During her address, Dr. Jain emphasized the critical need for timely prenatal care, regular health monitoring during pregnancy, and postnatal support for mothers and newborns. She further outlined the importance of vaccinations, proper nutrition, and early developmental screenings for children to ensure their long-term well-being.
“Pregnancy and early childhood are crucial phases in a family's journey. Ensuring regular health check-ups and adopting a preventive approach not only reduces complications but also fosters healthier outcomes for both mother and child. At Maccure Hospital, we are dedicated to supporting families with the highest quality of care,” remarked Dr. Geeta Jain.
The event also featured interactive sessions with Maccure Hospital’s pediatric specialists, who provided tips on managing common childhood illnesses, enhancing immunity, and ensuring proper growth and development.
